The PowerFlex 700 series of products include a wide variety of devices and parts. These devices include AC drives, upgrade kits, human interface modules, and much more. These products were designed by the company known as Allen Bradley/Rockwell Automation. The AC drives of the PowerFlex 700 product series offer excellent performance. The PowerFlex 700 AC drives can be connected to external communication modules. External compatible communication modules are connected to DPI port 5. These drives can serve the following purposes.

Unconnected Messaging: This enables other network devices, such as PanelView, to interact with drives directly without going via the network scanner.
