The recommended temperature range of this device to be operated should remain between 32 and 131 degrees Fahrenheit.

The 2098-DSD-020-SE is a servo drive produced by Allen-Bradley and it belongs within the Ultra3000 series of products. It uses an AC input voltage of 100-240 volts AC with a single phase to provide driving capability to run brushless servo motors with an output power of 2.68 Hp (horsepower) when continuous and has an output current of ten (10) amperes at 220 volts AC when continuous. At same time, the intermittent output current for this device is thirty (30) amps with 0 peak. Additionally, the maximum inrush current, which is required by power initialization for a short period of time, is one hundred (100) amperes with 0 peak. The 2098-DSD-020-SE has a unique SE Serial Real-time Communication System (SERCOS) interface which uses fiber-optic cables for communication. The fiber-optic cables enables a noise free environment for high speed digital data transfer between drive and Logixcontrol system. Also, this technique enables serial ring connection of many drives, of which each drive runs its own motor. During the operation, an operator can monitor various LED’s that indicates the state on both side of Sercos interface, such as normal, standby, minor, or unrecoverable fault. Additionally, toward network, there are communication ready, establishing communication, and no communication LEDs. Numerous environmental parameters and conditions have to be met ans satisfied. That being said, the most important ones are operational temperature range, surrounding air temperature, storage temperature, and the relative humidity.  The operational temperature range of this product is 32 to 131 degrees Fahrenheit. The surrounding air temperature is a maximum of 149 degrees Fahrenheit. The storage temperature range is -40 to 158 degrees Fahrenheit and the relative humidity should remain within the range of 5% to 95%.
