The Allen-Bradley 2098-DSD-HV150 is a digital 460 volt servo drive and it is a part of the Ultra3000 series of Allen-Bradley servo drives. This servo drive has a 230 to 480 volt, three-phase alternating current input voltage range, with an AC input frequency range of forty-seven to sixty-three (47 to 63) hertz (Hz). The main alternating current (AC) input current for the 2098-DSD-HV150 is, at 460 volts AC nominal, twenty (20) amperes. While at 460 volts AV max inrush, the main AC input current is six (6) amperes. The 2098-DSD-HV150 has an output current at 0-peak, when operating continuously, of thirty-four (34) amperes. The output current at 0-peak when intermittent, however, is sixty-eight (68) amperes. The internal shunt resistance of this device is twenty-five (25) ohms, with a rated shunt on of eight hundred (800) volts DC and a rated shunt off of seven hundred and fifty (750) volts DC. The bus capacitance of the 2098-DSD-HV150 is 940 microfarad and the rated bus overvoltage is 810 volts DC. At continuous power, the internal shunt of this product is two hundred (200) watts and at peak power, the internal shunt is 25.6 kilowatts. For the external shunt, this device has a twenty-five (25) ohm resistance. At continuous power, the external shunt is fifteen (15) kilowatts and at peak power, it is 25.6 kilowatts. The maximum power loss of the Allen-Bradley 2098-DSD-HV150 is three hundred and fifty (350) watts, plus the dissipative shunt. The 2098-DSD-HV150 weighs approximately 10.44 kilograms (kg), which is equal to 22.96 pounds (lbs).
