The 20AD1P1A3AYNNNNN is a PowerFlex 70 AC drive with a three-phase voltage rating of 480 volts alternating current (AC). Designed and manufactured by Allen Bradley / Rockwell Automation, this AC drive has a rated current of 1.1 amperes. When this drive is operating at normal duty, the rated power of this device is 0.37 kilowatts, or the equivalent of 0.5 horsepower (Hp). This AC drive features a brake IGBT that has been installed to help convert the kinetic energy from the AC drive motor to electric energy that is dissipated as resistor heat. To input data, the drive is equipped with a numeric keypad. Information is displayed in the liquid color display (LCD) screen. The Allen Bradley 20AD1P1A3AYNNNNN AC is not equipped with a communication slot of any type.  

This Allen Bradley AC drive is meant to be only used indoors due to its enclosure. The enclosure protects the electrical parts that are within this drive from particles that have the size bigger than 12 millimeters. The enclosure also offers protection to the handler from experiencing electrical shock due to touch. However, the enclosure is not dust-tight, nor does it prevent liquid from getting in. The enclosure for this AC drive has a rating of IP20, NEMA Type 1. This device lacks feedback, but the standard control unit is available.
