The Allen-Bradley 2711-B6C14 PanelView standard color terminal has a 6-inches active-matrix thin-film transistor (TFT) display with cold cathode fluorescent (CCF) backlight which supports a fixed palette of 32 standard EGA colors with a resolution of 320x234. This PanelView color terminal operates with the touch screen which has 128 (16 columns x 8 rows) touch cells, and the stainless steel domed membrane keypad which involves 10 function keys from F1 to F10 for navigation. The 2711-B6C14 terminal contains a single Modbus communication port which can be employed either as a half-duplex or as a master-slave protocol to communicate with other controllers like Modicon and GE and a single RS-232 port which can be connected to either a printer or to the RS-232 port of a computer for transferring files and applications. The Allen-Bradley 2711-B6C14 terminal contains 170 kilobytes random access memory (RAM) for runtime applications and 240 kilobytes nonvolatile flash memory. This terminal uses both 2711-NC13 and 2711-NC14 cables to upload and download application files between this terminal and the computer.
