About

The Allen-Bradley 2711-T10G8L1 is a modern operator terminal and is a part of the Allen-Bradley / Rockwell Automation PanelView 1000 Series. It is fitted with a 10.1-inch grayscale touch display which gives the user an easier and much more interactive experience. The touchscreen module has 384 touch cells which allow for clear and accessible information input. Applications can be stored within the device using the non-volatile memory and random access memory. The terminal is equipped with 1,008 kilobytes of memory which gives ample space for storing applications. The operator terminal runs only on DC and can take an input voltage of 24 volts of direct current. The terminal can be connected to the computer using the inbuilt RS-232 port. This port can also be used to connect to a printer and can print terminal logs, etc. It is also equipped with a DH+ port which can be used to connect to a PLC-5, SLC 5/04, or ControlLogix controller on a DH+ link. The DH+ network can be used to provide feedback to the user regarding the operation of the system. The terminal is also fitted with red and green status indicators that help the user to quickly identify problems within the system.
