2711P-B6C5A is a PanelView Plus 600 terminal, a product by Allen-Bradley. It offers a compact solution for HMI applications. 2711P-B6C5A has an integrated color TFT(thin-film transistor) liquid crystal display that spans 5.5 inches diagonally, 4.4 inches in width, and 3.3 inches in height. It offers 320 pixels in width resolution and 240 pixels in height resolution. A terminal's overall size is 10.47 inches x 6.58 inches. The operator has two options to enter data, a keypad, and an analog resistive touch screen. The keypad consists of numeric keys, function keys, and navigational arrow keys. It has a CCFL (cold-cathode fluorescent lamp) backlight with a life span of 50,000 hours.  An AC supply is required to turn on the module. The supply's output should range from 85 volts to 264 volts to match the input voltage requirement of the module. It absorbs a maximum of 60 VoltAmpere of power and dissipates 85 British thermal units(BTU) heat per hour. Multiple communications ports are integrated into its base unit. An RS232 port to communicate with controllers, preferably MicroLogix controllers, and Micro800 controllers. One USB port to attach external devices like a keyboard, printer, bar code scanners, or other devices. It comes with a CPU- NEC VR5532A MIPS (Million instructions per second)- having a processing speed of 350 MegaHertz, 64 MegaBytes of  PC100 SDRAM, and internal storage of 64MB. For memory expansion, a compact flash (CF) slot is also integrated into the terminal.
