About

The Allen-Bradley 2711P-B7C6D1 is a PanelView Plus 700 graphical operator terminal. This component-level operator terminal supports monitoring, controlling, and displaying low-level applications via a serial connection. The display module on this terminal contains a 6.5-inch diagonal color TFT (thin-film transistor) liquid crystal display with a resolution of 640 pixels by 480 pixels. It measures 11.40 x 7.58 inches and has a 5.2 x 3.9-inch active display surface. It also contains a keypad and a touchscreen for data input.  The keypad comprises twenty-two function buttons (F1 through F10 and K1 through K12), twenty numeric buttons, and four arrow buttons. The logic module contains a RAM of 64MB and flash memory of 32MB. It contains a BaseT (10/100)  Ethernet port, two USB ports for connection of external devices, and a serial RS232 connector for communicating with logic controllers, printers, and transferring files. It also contains a real-time clock and a CompactFlash slot. An external communication module can also be installed on the terminal to offer features such as  DH+, DH-485, ControlNet, and remote I/O network communication interfaces. The terminal's RAM may be enhanced to 256 MB and CompactFlash to 512 MB using memory extension unit. The 2711P-B7C6D1 has an DC input voltage range of 18 to 32 volts, with a typical voltage of 24 Volts and a peak power requirement of 70 watts. It has a replaceable lithium battery for a real-time clock with four years of life.  It has an x86 Intel Celeron CPU with a 650 (MHz) Megahertz processing speed.
