The 2711P-RDK10C display module is intended to be used with PanelView Plus - 1000 and PanelView Plus 6 - 1000 Human-Machine Interface (HMI) terminals. The module packs a 10.4-inch active color matrix type display with peak brightness of 300 Candela per square Metre (cd/m2) Nits. The display uses light-emitting diode (LED) backlight technology. There are some earlier 2711P-RDK10Cs, those featured a cold-cathode fluorescent lamp (CCFL) backlight type displays. The display is easily replaceable with the 2711P-RL10C replacement color light-emitting diode (LED) backlight. The display comes with color option and capable of producing 262000 (262k), 18-bit colors at a pixel resolution of 640 x 480. The default factory configuration of the 2711P-RDK10C display module does not include screen antiglare overlay, but there is option to use one if required. The 2711P-RGK10 antiglare overlay can be used with the display module. The display bezel is also field replaceable with the 2711P-RBK10 replacement bezel. The keypad of the module consist of 32 programmable function keys, 10 numeric keys, 4 navigation keys and 10 other command keys. The keys are tested to withstand 1 million presses at an operating force from 340 grams (g). Custom function key labels can be added with the module through the 2711P-RFK10 replacement legend strip. The keypad may be operated with fingers or gloved fingers. Pressing multiple keys apart from the directed ones at a time is not advised, which may lead to unintended operation.
