The Allen-Bradley PanelView 2711P-T15C4D1 is an electronic terminal that can be used to initiate and trigger functions of connected components within an automation system. The device improves the flexibility and versatility of the control system and can be used by the operator to create a human-machine (HMI) interface. The device can be configured over an Ethernet network to establish communication channels between the terminal and other devices within the system. These communication links can be used to transfer files and data in a simple and efficient manner. The network can be configured by using the configuration mode menu during the operation of the terminal.

The terminal can be powered by using a direct current source rated between 18 and 32 volts. An RS-232 serial port is provided to improve the connectivity of the device and to facilitate data transfer between the terminal and remote I/O devices. The serial ports and USB ports provided on the device are compliant with hazardous location environments.
