The long-lasting Allen-Bradley display screen 2711P-T7C4D2 is from the PanelView Plus 700 series. The display has an LED backlight with a standby duration of 50,000 hours. The screen measures 6.5 inches diagonally (5.2 x 3.9 inches) and is made with a unique thin-film Liquid Crystal Display with a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels and an analog resistive antiglare surface. This rugged display can withstand one million presses with a force of 10 to 100 G. The internal memory capacity is 64 MB and is expandable. This memory is used to store data. In addition, there is a volatile memory of 64 MB that can be expanded up to 256 MB.

There is also a provision of external memory addition with an SD card. The logic module communication port is RS-232 which can be programmed using a personal computer. It also has an Ethernet port with speed of 10 to 100 Megabytes per second. It can be used for network-wide protocols. The unit also has an internal battery with a four year battery life to power the real-time clock continuously with a ±2 minutes per month accuracy. The battery supplies 24 Volts DC and has a power rating of 39 W at 1.6 Amperes and a maximum power of 70 W at 2.9 Amps. The allowable operational temperature range is from 0 to 55°C at 5 to 95% relative humidity (non-condensing). The unit is designed and tested to be able to take a shock of 15 G without any loss of functionality even at 2000 meters of altitude (6561 feet).
