The MPL-A330P-MK22AA servo motor by Allen Bradley has a low inertia of 0.00012 kg m² with an excellent rated 5000 RPM speed. This motor has a maximum torque value of 11.1 Nm which is achievable in a short duration and a continuous torque of 4.18 Nm at the stall (zero speed). This is a brushless servo motor, which means that the factory standard design is very compact.  According to the IEC metric standard, the frame size comes out to be 100 mm or a Frame Size 3. To mount the servo motor from the outside, there are m7 type motor end-free mounting holes. There is also a circular bayonet connector which is facing the shaft, to connect the servo motor with other components. A magnetic stack of 76.2 mm is present inside the motor to provide rigidity to the stator. This brushless MPL-A330P-MK22AA has excellent speed and to measure this speed a multi-turn sin/cos 1024 absolute encoder is used. This feedback system also used a Hiperface protocol which minimized the number of cables in use and really contribute to the small size of the servo motor. This motor is dust resistant with IP50 and IP66 ratings. There is no shaft seal to protect the servo motor from moisture so it should be kept dry and regular maintenance is also mandatory. It can withstand a humidity level ranging from 5 %RH to a maximum of 95 %RH. Unfortunately, this servo motor does not have brakes. So when the power is cut off, the load does not hold its place in the drive.
