The low inertia MP series MPL-A430H-MJ72AA is manufactured by Allen Bradley Rockwell Automation. The 0.00038 kg m² inertia with a maximum motor speed of 3500 RPM leaves room for a high torque of 19.8 Nm which can be achieved in a small amount of time. The IEC standard metric Frame Size is 4 or in other words 115 millimeters. The inside of the motor contains a magnetic stack of 3 inches in length and a keyed shaft that secures all the connections on the interior. However, there are no brakes for the retention of the value of lead and the shaft has no seal thus is not waterproof. The Hiperface protocol makes sure that a minimum number of cables are being used for the internal connections. To measure the speed of the motor an absolute 1024 multi-turn encoder is used. Connections outside the motor are made using the SpeedTech DIN circular connector which has a 90-degree bend and a 180-degree rotational space. As mentioned above the shaft seal is not available so it is important to mention that the enclosures are IP50 and IP66 rated which proves that they are dustproof.
