Allen Bradley MPL-A4540F-SJ22AA is a premium permanent magnet rotary servo motor that belongs to the 200 V alternating current voltage class. This motor has a rated and maximum speed of 3000 RPM and inertia of 0.00052 kg m² which is quite low and perfectly fits the title of low-inertia motors. The high torque specification is also very important as this motor has a maximum highest torque of 27.1 Nm which can be reached in a short time. In addition to that, this motor has a continuous torque of 10.2 Nm at zero speed. This uses an IEC metric Frame size of 4 or it can also be said 130 mm frame size. The rated power of the motor is 2.6 kW output, this results in a high-output motor. The motor can also be mounted using the mounting holes present on the outside. There is a circular bayonet-type connection on the outside of the motor that is facing the shaft. This shaft is keyed and encloses all the components inside. Unfortunately, the shaft is unsealed, which means that the motor is not water-resistant. It also has no brakes which means the information is lost when the power shuts down. Some other factory standard settings include a magnetic stack that goes to be 101.6 mm or 4 inches long. To measure the speed accurately, the module has an absolute encoder with 1024 single-turn sin/cos specifications. Also, a Hiperface protocol is implemented to really reduce the size of the motor and the weight also decreases to be 8.6 kgs or 19 lbs.
