MPL-B1530U-VJ74AA by Allen Bradley is a compact high-output brush-less servo motor with inertia of 0.000023 kg m². This motor has a maximum and rated speed of 7000 RPM. An absolute multi 128 turn encoder is used to measure this high-speed motor. The high-output range is 0.39 kW power with a direct current 24 V brake that retains the value of the load in the drive at the time of power outage. The motor has a continuous 0.90 Nm torque at the stall and a peak of 2.80 Nm torque in a short time period. The motor also consists of a 3 inches or 76.2 mm magnetic stack that is why it also weighs 1.6 kg or 3.4 lbs. The motor can be flange mounted using the mounting holes present with a type m7 motor end. The motor enclosures are IP50 and IP66 rated which ensures that dust can not enter the motor through the edges. This still means that moisture and humidity can enter as this motor has an absence of a shaft seal which makes it waterproof. There is however a shaft key that makes the components inside the motor securely in place. A Hiperface protocol is followed which uses the minimum number of wires inside the cables and makes it quite compact with an IEC metric standard Frame Size 15 or 63 mm. To connect the motor with other devices and components, a SpeedTech circular cable is used which makes the connections sure and provides fast data for a better response and control system.
