The Allen-Bradley MP series low inertia brushless rotary servo motor has premium permanent magnets and is designed to deliver more torque while occupying less space. Its voltage class is 400 Volts and frame size is 100 millimeters IEC 72-1 flange. The magnetic stack length is 1 inch. The speed rating on the motor is 5000 rpm and it has a multi-turn high-resolution encoder. The motor has up to 2 million counts per revolution to ensure smooth performance and precise response to control signals. It is equipped with a shaft key and no shaft seal. The connectors are circular bayonet and shaft facing. The motor model does not have brake. The mounting flange style is IEC metric and it comes with standard factory designated options. The dimensions of the motor are 125.7 x 164.7 x 89.4 millimeters (4.95 x 6.49 x 3.52 inches).

The allowable operating temperature range is 0 to 40 degrees Celsius (32 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit) and the storage temperature range is -30 to 70 degrees Celsius (-22 to 158 degrees Fahrenheit) with relative humidity ranging from 5% to 95% (non-condensing). The motor has an IP rating of IP66 which means it is dust tight, can tolerate powerful water jets and room temperature water exposure. The ATEX rating of the servo motor is Group II, Zone 2 which is for non-mining applications at normal operating conditions. The motor works with Allen-Bradley Kinetix 6000, 6200, 6500, 300 and 350 servo drive series products. The motor comes with an on-board memory to hold motor identity which is communicated automatically to the systems control for easy commissioning and maintenance.
