MPL-B320P-MJ22AA by Allen Bradley is a servo motor that is a part of an alternating current (AC) 400 V voltage class and a low inertia high torque series. This model from the series has an inertia of 0.000078 kg m² which is quite low and can reach a maximum of 7.91 Nm in very little time and has a continuous torque of 3.05 Nm at the stall. The output power can also be observed as a rated 1.5 kW. The speed of the motor is 5000 RPM. The motor frame is measured according to the IEC metric to be a frame size of 3 or in other words 100 mm. The feedback system of the motor involves a 1024 absolute multi-turn sin/cos encoder with a protocol called Hiperface. This protocol makes sure that the lowest possible number of cables are used inside the motor. This also adds to the small size of the motor. The motor has no key, meaning the shaft does not have an additional latch of security to keep the components in place. There is also no shaft seal that prevents the water from entering the shaft. This IP50 and IP66 rated motor model are dustproof at the enclosures. To be cautious, the motor should be kept in a dry and well-ventilated place. Connections between motor and component are done by a circular bayonet-type cable. This motor with all the necessary components weighs about 3.7 kg or 8.0 lbs. This motor does not have a brake so in case of a power outage, the load will lose its value.
