Allen Bradley's MPL-B330P-SJ24AA, which is a servo motor, is an automation product to provide a motion system of high performance. It uses a feedback system with a hiperface protocol to achieve the required performance. Additionally, it has a single turn encoder to deliver feedback signals. It is a permanent magnet motor with an IEC 72 - 1 dimension, a 100 millimeter sized frame, and 76.2 millimeters, or 3.0 inches, magnetic stack length. This motor retains a compact design and low motor inertia but still provides high output torques. In other words, it has a high torque to size proportion. It even offers a choice of using a shaft key to provide a secured connection.

Part numebr MPL-B330P-SJ24AA requires an alternating current (AC) for its 400 volt armature windings and features circular bayonet connectors. It also incorporates a holding brake with the following specifications: 0.45 to 0.55 amperes at 24 volts direct current (DC), 0.0011 kilograms meter squared of rotor brake inertia and a release time of 50 milliseconds. This brake is controlled manually and by the use of drives. Compatible servo drives are Kinetix drives.
