The Allen-Bradley MPL- B420P-SJ22AA is a brushless AC synchronous servo motor. It is suitable for applications demanding strictly metered torque, velocity, or positioning. It uses permanent magnets mounted on its rotor with 2 inches of stack length. It belongs to the IEC 72-1 flange mounted rotating machines categorized with a frame size of 115 millimeters. Its power requirement is in accordance with the high voltage class (30 volts to 1000 volts alternating current, class B) with a working voltage of 400 volts, depending on armature winding. A single turn absolute encoder is employed in this motor to get the positioning of the motor stator in regard to the rotor position when the motor is turned on for greater torque control.
