Allen Bradley®, MPL-B430P-MK74AA, an MP-Series low-Inertia, high-Output brushless servo motor, employs revolutionary design features to minimize the motor size while still producing the much higher torque. It is an AC (alternating current) and synchronous motor that comes with 400Volts armature class windings. It has powerful permanent magnets rather than rotor windings to produce a magnetic field, and its magnetic stack is 3.00 inches long. As a result, this motor can rotate at a rate of 5000 rpm (revolutions per minute) while being relatively modest in size. For example, the frame is only 115 millimeters long, and the entire motor weight (with a holding brake) is only 16 pounds. Furthermore, the frame dimensions meet the IEC 72-1 metric, and this motor is of the flange-mounted design.
In the MPL-B430P-MK74AA, the degree of rotation along with the total number of revolutions is measured by a multi-turn encoder. It is equipped with a DC-operated electromechanical brake (direct current). It also requires 0.57 through 0.704 amperes of current and 24 volts DC of voltage. This is a holding brake with a holding torque of 90 pounds inches, not a braking brake. Whenever the primary power is turned off, it is employed to maintain the load in position. Servo drives can be employed to operate it (using an automatic process), or humans can manage it by connecting an external power source. All connections, including input (feedback), power source, and brake, are made through circular DIN connectors. It comes with 58 pounds-inches of continuous stall torque rating and 175 pounds-inches peak stall torque rating.
