Allen Bradley's MPL-B540K-MJ22AA servo motor is a component of its MP series of premium permanent magnet motors. It has high efficiency concerning torque output and low inertia. It has armature windings of voltage class B that need AC 400 volts (alternating current) to generate an electromagnetic field to interact with the magnetic field that drives the shaft to rotate. It contains a four-inch-long permanent magnetic stack for the magnetic field. The motor's frame is 165 millimeters and features an IEC 72-1 metric hole for mounting (type FF). The MPL-B540K-MJ22AA has a peak rotational speed of 4000 rpm (revolutions/min). At around this speed, it can tolerate a radial load of roughly 90 kilograms and an axial load of roughly 26 kilograms. Whenever the axial or radial loads increase above the previously mentioned values, the motor's speed drops proportionately. At a radial load of 114 kilograms and an axial load of 35 kilograms, the motor can reach a speed of 2000 rpm. It has a multi-turn rotation encoder for accurate and precise feedback. This electromechanical setup does not involve the usage of a battery. It comes with a shaft that is missing a seal but has a key. Bayonet connectors of circular shape are installed in this motor for connection. These connectors are aligned with the shaft and face towards it. This motor has torque ratings of 48.6 Nm (peak value) and 19.4 Nm (continuous value). It produces 5.4 kilowatts of power. Its weight is around 15.0 kilograms.
