Product number 1734-IT2I is a POINT I/O isolated thermocouple input module. This module was designed and produced by the company known as Allen Bradley / Rockwell Automation. It is a part of the Bulletin 1734 series of products. This module has a total of two (2) differential, individually isolated inputs. This module has a resolution of 15 bits plus sign, as well as 2.5 μV/cnt. The rated input voltage of this module is +/- 75 millivolts (mV). It has an absolute accuracy of 0.1% full scale at 25 degrees Celsius, or 77 degrees Fahrenheit. The accuracy drift of this Allen Bradley module is 30 ppm per degree Celsius. It has an input impedance rated at one hundred (100) kilo ohms, with an input resistance of one (1) megohm. This module's conversion type is Delta Sigma. The recommended terminal base screw torque is 0.8 Newton-meters (7 lb-in.). This module is equipped with several indicators located on the logic side. These indicators include one (1) module status indicator, one (1) network status indicator, and two (2) input status indicators. The maximum POINTBus current of this module is 175 milliamperes at 5 volts DC. The maximum power dissipation rating of this device is 1.0 watt, while the maximum thermal dissipation rating is 3.3 BTU/hr. The isolation voltage of this module is rated at 50 volts when operating continuously. This module is not equipped with an enclosure and, therefore, is considered to be an open-style device. This module has physical dimensions that measure 56 mm x 12 mm x 75.5 mm. It also has an approximate weight of 0.036 kilograms.
