The 1747-L552 is an SLC 500 modular processor manufactured by Allen Bradley/Rockwell Automation as part of the SLC 500 series. This SLC 5/05 processor comes with a maximum user memory of 32-kilobyte words, with 28 Kilobytes words for the program or data as well as 4 Kilobytes words dedicated to data only. The 1747-L552 SLC processor features a maximum number of input and output at 4096 each, for both inputs and outputs. Also, it comes with a maximum local analog of 480. It has 107 programming instructions, with 3 chassis and 30 slots available with this processor. This unit has a maximum current of 1 ampere at 5 volts DC and 0 ampere at 24 volts DC. It also features input and output scan time of 0.225 milliseconds, a typical program scan time of 0.9 milliseconds, and 0.37 ohms of XIC bit execution. This PLC processor has a program scan hold-up time of 20 milliseconds to 3 seconds after a loss of power, depending on the power supply loading. It comes with a peak-to-peak displacement at 5 – 57 hertz, 2.5G acceleration at 57 - 2000 hertz, and an operating vibration of 0.015 inches. The 1747-L552 processor also features an operating shock of 30G with a relative humidity of 5 – 95 percent non-condensing, an operating temperature range of 0 – 60 degrees Celsius, and a storage temperature range of -40 to 85 degrees Celsius. Before removing or adding a module, the power must be turned off. It also comes with status LEDs that are available to let the user monitor its current state.
