The 1756-IR6I is a 4-point, non-isolated standard analog voltage output module manufactured by Allen Bradley/Rockwell Automation as part of the SLC 500 series. It has an output range of 1 – 5 volts DC as well as backplane currents of 145 milliamps at 24 volts and 55 milliamps at 5 volts. The operator can choose to use the 24 Volt DC external power supply with the 1756-IR6I module since it has an SW1 external power supply switch. When there is not sufficient power coming from the SLC power supply, applications may need up to 21.6 – 26.4 Volts DC. This module features a 500 volts DC field wiring to backplane isolation, along with a maximum load reactance of 1 µF and 10 milliamps maximum load current. It also features a full scale of 10 Volts DC and a normal output range of a -10 to 10 Volt 1 LSB. The module has an output range of -10 to 10 Volts 1 LSB. Allen Bradley 1756-IR6I is a factory-calibrated module, and it uses 16-bit two’s complement binary communication format. The module features an open-type enclosure, and it’s mounted on a 1746 chassis, with a detachable or removable terminal block (RTB). Additionally, it comes with an LED status indicator and is well-matched with the #14 AWG maximum wire size. The module has an update time of 512 µs for all the parallel channels, and a step response time of 2.5 milliseconds at 95 percent. The operating temperature of the 1746-NO4V module ranges between 32 and 140 degrees Fahrenheit, a non-operating temperature range of -40 to 185 degrees Fahrenheit and a non-condensing relative humidity for storage and operation of 5 – 95 percent.
