The Allen-Bradley manufactured 1756-L55M13 is a processor module of the ControlLogix 5555 controller family. This ControlLogix processor module has 1.5 megabytes of RAM and a maximum I/O count of 128000. The 1756-L55M13 processor module is utilized in ControlLogix industrial controlling systems to provide complete controller redundancy. Although non-volatile memory is not included, extra CompactFlash memory modules (including 64 and 128 MB capacities) are available separately. A battery is required to operate the 1756-L55M13's user memory.

The 1756-L55M13 is made by Allen-Bradley and is a ControlLogix processor module. There is no non-volatile memory with this controller. However, this device does have an I/O memory consisting of two hundred and eight (208) kilobytes in size, while data and logic memory has a total of 1.5 megabytes on the system. The 1756-L55M13 also weighs 0.35 grams. It lacks a rating since it offers an open type controlling feature. This controller has batteries which can be changed again if they are powered out, and even when required.
The 1756-BA1 lithium battery is the only one that can be used with it. The 1756-L55M13 draws 0.014 amperes at twenty-four (24) volts DC power supply and 1.23 amperes at 5.1 volts DC. Nineteen-point-one (19.1) BTU/hr. and five-point-six (5.6) watts of heat and electricity loss occur by this module. In addition to being constructed of basic insulation, it features a constant isolation voltage of thirty (30) volts. A further test showed that it was capable of withstanding 707 V DC for 60 seconds. In practice, the 1756-L55M13 controller's RF immunity is 10 volts rms with a sine wave that is 80% AM from 150 kHz to 80 MHz.
