1756-N2 is manufactured by Allen Bradley. It is used to fill empty slots in the standard ControlLogix chassis. It measures 3.2 by 14.6 by 5.1 centimeters. It has electronic keying which prevents replacement errors. It operates in a temperature range of 0 to 60 degrees Celsius. This module can be mounted on a chassis. It is mainly used for covering empty slots for systems expansion. This module is made of plastic materials. For a well-integrated system, the module performs standard and safety control in the same chassis. This product comprises of a number communication options which include RS -232, RS-422, and RS-485 modules. At 5 volts its backplane current is 800 milliamperes and at 24 volts the backplane current is 3 milliamperes. The power dissipation is 4 Watts. This module has a SERCOS data rate of 4 or 8 megabits per second. The current drawn at 5.1 volts is 1.2 amperes.1752-N2 has a power dissipation of 6.2 Watts and 21.2 British Thermal Units per hour. This module has a high-performance ability and perfection which applies in an easy-to-use environment. The module’s chassis backplane offers a high-speed communication path for the modules. This feature helps in the distribution of power to each of the modules within the chassis. This module comes with a time-stamping feature that keeps track of events on the application. It has a diagnostic feature both input and output which helps in detecting system and field-side failures.1752-N2 meets the application's needs because of its high availability and its high performance in an extreme environment. It acts as a chassis accessory when mounted on a ControlLogix chassis.
