The ControlLogix 1756-OA8 is an AC output module with a voltage capability of 120 to 240 Volts AC and an operational voltage range of 74 to 265 Volts AC. At 60 degrees Celsius, This Allen-Bradley module has an output current rating of 2 amperes, whereas the highest output current rating module is 5 amperes at 30°C and 4 amperes at 60°C. The isolation voltage of the 1756-OA8 is rated at 50 Volts continuous and comes with two RTB options: the 1756-TBNH and the 1756-TBSH. At 5 volts, the backplane current is 200 milliamperes, and at 24 volts, it is 2 milliamperes. This module, additionally, is suited to be placed in any slot of the chassis. An Allen-Bradley Removable Terminal Block is required for this module (RTB). RTBs are modular and provide a module endpoint. Signals may be connected easily using the RTB without the requirement for the real module. It also enables easy module replacement in the event that one becomes damaged, as it eliminates the need for rewiring. This module facilitates the installation of local or remote I/O ControlLogix chassis, whether as a stand-alone configuration or as part of a distributed I/O architecture. The 1756-OA8 has a maximum operating temperature of 60°C and a minimum operating temperature of 0°C. The maximum storage temperature is 85°C, while the minimum is -40°C. The vibration frequency in the operational condition is 500 Hertz, with a maximum relative humidity of 95 percent. The 1756-OA8 offers a wide range of voltages, with 8 to 32 points on each module. Furthermore, with direct-connect or rack-optimized connectivity, it has point-level output fault states.
