The 1756-OF6CI is an isolated analog output module that is part of the 1756 series of ControlLogix systems. It is widely known in industries because of its high level of noise immunity feature. this module can be removed or installed in the chassis under power therefore the powering down of the chassis is not required during the installation of the module. This module enhances the availability of the overall control system, during the removal or insertion of the module, no disruption to the rest of the machine occurs. The 1756-OF6CI produces a high-speed output signal with less than 0.6% module error. The maximum scan time is 25 milliseconds for floating-point data format and 10 milliseconds for integer data format. Through the R-Ladder DAC converter, data conversion is achieved easily. This module has a 250 volts isolation voltage between the output channel and the backplane. The 1756-OF6CI is electronically keyed through digital control, this ensures precision is achieved. It is also keyed to the removable terminal block through mechanical mode. It operates at a temperature range of 0 to 60 degrees Celsius at a non-condensing 5 to 95% relative humidity. At 5.1 volts direct current, this module draws 250 milliamperes chassis current. Also, at 24 volts direct current, it draws 225 milliamperes currents. Its total backplane power is 6.7 Watts at 0 to 50 Ohms load and 8.5 Watts backplane power at 551 to 1000 Ohms load. The calibration of this module should be carried out after every 6 months. The calibration can be done to an accuracy of 0.01% over 4 to 21 milliamperes operating range.
