The Allen-Bradley 1769-OW16 compact AC/DC relay module provides 16 normally open outputs. The 1769-OW16 supports voltage rating ranges from 5 volts AC to 265 volts AC and from 5 volts DC to 125 volts DC. This module can be employed by controllers such as the CompactLogix controller or the MicroLogix 1500 controller. The 1769-OW16 module can be used in several applications mainly in the industrial field. For example, the 1769-OW16 module can be assembled with a 1769-ADN DeviceNet adapter or with a 1769-AENTR Ethernet adapter. The 1769-OW16 module offers the flexibility during the installation and mounting steps with two mounting M4 or #8 screws panel mounting which should be well-grounded or on EN 50 022 - 35 x 7.5 or EN 50 022 - 35 x 15 DIN rails. The minimum on-state current for this module is 10 milliamps and the output delay is 10 milliseconds. This Allen-Bradley 1769-OW16 compact AC/DC relay contact module can be supplied through 1769 Compact I/O power supplies such as 1769-PA2, 1769-PB2, 1769-PA4, 1769-PB4 power supplies except when connected to a MicroLogix 1500 base with a current consumption of 205 milliamps. The 1769-OW16 Allen-Bradley module can be connected easily to either the controller or to an adjacent I/O module before or after mounting. The 1769-OW16 module dissipates an electrical power of 4.75 watts. This 1769-OW16 module is intended for use in a mainly industrial environment that is clean and dry (Pollution degree 2) and to circuits not exceeding Over Voltage Category II (IEC 60664-1). The 1769-OW16 relay contact module provides 2 isolated groups of 8 points each which permit to group and control both AC and DC loads on one module. The 1769-OW16 is an AC/DC relay contact I/O module by Allen-Bradley. This module is part of the 1769 CompactLogix series.
