The 1771-CFM is a type of programmable flow meter unit. It is built to be used in automation systems. It starts by first receiving signals from the connected field devices. After that, it uses the signals to make accurate, and fast calculations. This flow meter unit can be deployed for measuring shaft speed too. The 1771-CFM can ideally be used as an intermediary that connects turbine flow meters with industrial interfaces. It can also connect single-channel shaft encoders with magnetic industrial pickups. Thanks to its advanced specs, the 1771-CFM can also calculate flow signals from TTL pulse sources.
The 1771-CFM can be used in a wide range of industrial applications starting with pipeline, food & beverage, oil, power generation, gas, and automotive. It is ideal for any industrial application that deals with turbine metering and motor flow measurement.
