The 1771-CP1 is a type of PLC-5 power cable. It is a type of I/O chassis cable. It is ideally designed to be paired with the 1771-P7 power supply that is part of the PLC-5 series from Allen-Bradley. This power cable can establish a connection between the 1771-A1B, -A2B, -A3B, or chassis -A4B I/O and the 1771 power supply module. This power cable has a flexible design. The 1771-CP1 cable can be bent significantly without the fear of bending. There are two connector ends on this cable, each of which come with screws for tightening. This cable has a measurement of 1.04 feet, which is the equivalent to 0.32 meters. The 1771-CP1 cable can connect any standard I/O industrial module with any standard industrial power supply. Both the D-Shell connecting ends on this cable have connecting screws on each end.
One end of the 1771-CP1 cable must be strapped with the D-shell connector. Tighten the screws to firmly place the I/O chassis in place. The second end of the wire must be connected with the D-shell connector. The D-shell connector is situated at the lower part of the power supply. The screws must be tightened on each end to lock the connection.
The 1771-CP1 can also be paired with the power supply located in a separated location than the I/O chassis. The 1771-CP1 can support a screw torque of 12 pounds per inch. The optimal temperature range for this chassis cable is 32 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit. Five percent (5%) to ninety-five percent (95%) is the non-condensing relative humidity range.
