The Allen Bradley 1771-HS1 module consists of three (3) components: a 32-kilobyte memory cartridge (1771-HM), an encoder module, and a 1771-PS7 power supply module. This device is equipped with 4 red and green LED indicators.

Part number 1771-HS1 was designed and manufactured by the company known as Allen Bradley / Rockwell Automation. It is a servo controller that is compatible with the PLC-5 series. This module uses a 1771-HM memory cartridge. A motion controller is in charge of monitoring feedback on an axis and exact position at any time after initial power-up and zeroing. Furthermore, the system provides four quick outputs and monitors four (4) quick inputs directly on the module. The 1771-HS1 device has a voltage of 120 volts of alternating current source at 1 ampere of current and 220 volts of alternating current source at two (2) amperes of current. Furthermore, in order to connect the power supply to the power connector, the module employs a 1771-CAS connector cable. There are also 50-pin Axis E-stop Input or Output connections on this module for receiving encoder feedback signals, including E-stop starting signals, E-stop status signals, and resolver feedback signals. In addition to everything that has been stated, the 1771-HS1 module has 33 kb of memory and is powered by a 1771-PS7 power supply module. Furthermore, through the 1771 backplane, the module and its controller communicate with Allen Bradley Programmable Logic Controllers and remote Input or Output adapters, such as through discrete and block transfer. In addition, the module is compatible with handheld pendants and IBM-compatible personal computers. This Allen Bradley module also includes four (4) red and green LED indicators.
