The 1771-IVN is a digital DC input module from Allen Bradley / Rockwell Automation. It belongs to the PLC-5 series of products. Also, the manufacturers have designed it for the PLC control systems. Additionally, the manufacturers have made this module compatible with almost all the I/O chassis featured in the Bulletin 1771 product line. It supports 32 inputs divided into four (4) sets of eight (8) inputs. It operates on 10 to 30 Volts DC power. The backplane current draw of this module is 280 mA. Its maximum DC Off-state current range is 1.7 mA. At the same time, the module's AC signal delay-off range is 45 (+/- 15) milliseconds. Aside from that, its signal delay-off range is 6 (+/- 2) milliseconds. The wiring compatibility of this unit is with 1771-WN. In addition, one of the significant product applications of this module is that it includes half slot addressing, implying that it can support this feature excellently. Additionally, it is fit for the single slot addressing, though it can do single slot addressing tasks under the right circumstances. On the other hand, it is incompatible with the two-slot addressing option. This unit can be rack-mounted and use 32 input image bits for the data table. Regardless, it does not support output image bits. In a nutshell, it is designed for sourcing inputs, and it intends to be used with the sinking outputs and guarantees a durable design concept with a high-performance efficiency rate. This device should be operated in an area with a temperature range of 0 to 60 degrees Celsius.
