This 1771-P2 is an auxiliary power supply unit by Allen-Bradley and Rockwell Automation. The power supply is factory shipped for 120 Volt AC operation. You can use 120 Volt AC and 220 to 240 Volt AC modes of operation. Fuse protection is also supported by the power supply. The fuse is a 1-Ampere slow blow fuse for 120 Volt AC operation and the 0.5 Ampere fuse is used for 220 to 240 Volt AC operation. The fuse rating is reliant on the mode of operation.
The 1771-P2 has a minimum voltage of 92.0 Volts and a normal input range of 98 to 132 Volts AC while using 120 Volts AC for operation. The minimum voltage is 184 Volts with a normal input range of 196 to 250 Volts AC for using 220 to 240 Volts AC for operating mode. The nominal input voltage or current of the power supply unit is 0.75 Amperes at 120 Volts AC and 0.38 Amperes at 220 to 240 Volts AC. The real input power is 65 Watts at full load and the apparent input power is 90 Volts AC at full load. It has a 50/60 Hertz frequency range and the maximum output current is 6.5 Amperes at 5 Volts DC. The input power to equipment chassis/ground isolation voltages are 2500 Volts DC and 1800 Volts RMS that are both for 1 millisecond. It has a 5.1 Volt DC +/-5% output voltage each for logic circuit and memory. The power loss time delay of this power supply is 13.5 milliseconds +/- 2.5 milliseconds for input power loss to the disabled processor. The operation temperature is 32 to 140 degrees Celsius. This auxiliary power supply unit can power single 1771 chassis installed with single communication adapter, 1771 mini PLC2, and 1771 mini PLC 2/15.
