The 1771-WH is a wiring accessory produced by Allen-Bradley. It is included in the 1771 series of Digital AC and DC input modules as an accessory wiring arm. This component is a general-purpose accessory that is compatible with multiple Allen-Bradley modules in the 1771 series. It allows the I/O modules to be connected to the plant wiring securely. The wiring arm features a built-in locking tab that secures the wire and prevents inadvertent disconnection. The wiring arm has 21 terminals available and can be used to connect up to 16 I/O modules. The wiring arm can be field wired. The supported I/O modules include the 1771-IND, 1771-IAD, 1771-IGD, 1771-IBD, 1771-ICD, 1771-OAD, 1771-OMD, 1771-OGD, 1771-OBD, and 1771-OBDS. This wiring arm does not include fuses on the terminals. An optional wiring arm with the catalog number 1771‐WHF incudes fuses and has one fuse available per output. This component connects with I/O modules using Tin plated contacts. Thiis wiring arm is made out of industrial thermoplastic material. It features a swinging design in the built-in chassis clamp that provides convenient access to the connected I/O modules. The wiring arm has dedicated connections for inputs and outputs. Connections for line power and ground are provided as well. The wiring arm supports wire sizes of up to 14 American Wire Gauge (AWG). Wires can be spade-lugged or clamped directly according to the requirements of the user’s application. This component has an approximate weight of 0.1 kilograms. The wiring arm has dimensions of 10 inches x 6 inches x 4 inches.
