The 1784-PCMK is a communication card made by Allen-Bradley. This is a PCMCIA communication interface card that supports connecting to devices on DH485, DH+, and Remote I/O networks from a personal or notebook computer. The Data Highway Plus (DH+) network is an industrial network standard that uses a Local Area Network (LAN) to allow remote programming, messaging, and connecting to controllers in industrial settings such as in factory floor applications. The 1784-PCMK card is rated for use in Pollution Degree 2 industrial environments and is compliant with Overvoltage Category II specifications. This card is classified as Class A industrial equipment according to IEC/CISPR. The operating altitude for this unit is 2000 meters above sea level. This unit requires 160 milliamperes of current at 5 Volts DC. The power dissipation is 0.8 Watts and the heat dissipation is rated at 2.73 BTU per hour.
