Designed and manufactured by Allen Bradley, the 1784U2DHP cable is a USB to data highway plus cable. This cable is an industrial-grade cable that can connect a PC to a DH+ network with the help of the PC's USB port. Operators use this cable to connect a PLC five processor to a PC. Furthermore, the cable dissipates 1.575 watts of energy as heat and it makes use of one hundred twenty-five (125) milliamperes current and a five (5) volt DC voltage. It features a 30-volt isolation voltage. The temperature ranges from zero (0) and fifty-five (55) degrees Celsius. Moreover, it features the DH+ protocol that utilizes the RS-485 wiring to communicate. It permits the high-velocity switch of records and helps long-distance verbal exchange, that can range up to 10,000 feet, or 3050 meters, for the trunk-line and a hundred (100) feet, or 3 meters, for dropline connections.
