The SMC-3 solid state controller 150-C30NBD has an amperage rating of 30 Amperes, open-type enclosure, and input line voltage of 200 to 480 Volts of alternating current, 3-phase, 50 / 60 Hertz, and a control power supply of 100 to 240 Volts of alternating current with a 50/60 Hertz frequency. The soft starter has a compact footprint for efficient use of panel space. The easy and secure setup allows for optimization of process. The in-built bypass also reduces heat generation. There are five modes for start and stop that are suitable for a wide variety of applications. The controller dimensions are 44.8 x 139.7 x 100 millimeters with a mounting hole size of 4.6 millimeters and weight of 0.86 kilograms. The controller provides true three phase control and it can perform motor and system diagnostics with its improved intelligent performance. The controller provides protection and reduced downtime to valuable assets with its electronic overload with adjustable trip class. The controller lets users select start times from a range of 2 to 30 seconds, initial torque range of 15% to 65% of locked rotor torque, current limit of 150 to 450% of full load current and kick start time of 0 to 1.5 s at 450% of full load amperage, soft stop choice of off, 100%, 200%, or 300% of the start time setting, and overload trip class of 10, 15, or 20. The controller is only used for three-phase motors and has a rated impulse of 6 Kilovolts with an overvoltage category III. It complies with UL508, CSA C22.2 No.14, and EN/IEC 60947-1.
