Part number IC610MDL154 is a Sink/Source output module by GE Fanuc. This module comes with four 24 volts direct current (DC) output terminals. These outputs can be sink or source outputs, each of which may control user-supplied discrete loads. The IC610MDL154 comes with isolated outputs. Each output circuit has an embedded five (5)-ampere fuse that can be replaced. All four (4) output circuits can be connected to a separate the DC power supply. Each output circuit has a continuous current rating of 2 amperes and a peak current rating of 8 amperes. This module consumes 12 milliamperes at 9 volts DC and 30 milliamperes at 24 volts DC. Depending on the load connected with respect to the load power supply, the output circuit behaves as either a source or a sink output. This module is operable with 5 to 24 volts DC and has a peak voltage rating of 45 volts DC. Each output's on/off status is displayed by a corresponding light-emitting diode (LED) on the logic side. This module includes a terminal block that is attached to the faceplate. Screw terminals are used for field connections on this terminal block. Each terminal may take one #12 AWG wire or two #14 AWG wires. The module's on to off and off to on response times are 0.1 milliseconds for both. To increase the output current capacity of this module, output circuits can be linked in parallel. Motor starters, relay coils, solenoid valves, and indicator lights are examples of loads that can be controlled by this module.
