The GE Fanuc IC694ACC311 belongs to the RX3i PacSystem accessory module series from GE Fanuc. This product is compatible with RX3i IC694 low-density I/O modules. Using this module, users can establish a connection between the low-density and I/O modules. It is ideal for use with many different applications. There is a standard-depth outer cover on this module. Thanks to this outer cover, the GE Fanuc IC694ACC311 can successfully accommodate wires that have an above average thickness. The GE Fanuc IC694ACC311 comes with a depth measurement that is almost similar to those of PacSystems PLC module from the GE Series 90-30. For field wiring, this module comes with twenty (20) different screw terminals. It features an internal sensor that notifies the user when the module is connected or removed from power. After removing the field-side block, users can use this module for hot swapping. However, users must remember to hot-swap only when this module is removed from the backplane.

The GE Fanuc IC694ACC311 RX3i PacSystem accessory module allows for hot-swapping. However, for hot-swapping, you need to remove the field side block. The hot swapping must be undertaken by the universal backplane only. The terminal block is used establishes all the connections, and field wiring. The supported copper wires with this module are AWG #16, AWG #22, and AWG #14. Along with the copper wires, it also accepts standard and solid wires. For optimal connectivity, same type of wires must be used. Users are advised to pull all the wires together and bind them behind the module.
