The GE Fanuc Emerson IC694MDL340 is an output module for the Rx3i PACsystem that includes sixteen (16) discrete output points which support a voltage rating range from 85 Volts AC to 132 Volts AC at a frequency of 50/60 Hertz and an output current of 0.5 Amperes per point and 3 Amperes per group. The IC694MDL340 outputs are grouped into two (2) well-isolated groups of eight (8) outputs with a separate power terminal for each group (Q1 - Q8 and Q9 – Q16) which are labeled with green LED indicators to show the on/off status of outputs. The IC694MDL340 includes two three-Ampere fuses to prevent and protect groups from high power surges. The IC694MDL340 has a red LED indicator on the faceplate labelled “F” which can be turned when one of the fuses blows. The IC694MDL340 contains two (2) red bands on the front side to warn and indicate that it is a high-voltage module.
The IC694MDL340 employs the backplane optical isolation offered by optocouplers to provide electrical isolation of 1500 Volts between logic and field sides and 250 Volts between groups. The IC694MDL340 can be easily mounted in any input or output slots of the RX3i system. The IC694MDL340 can be employed in many industrial applications such as solenoids, motor starters, and inductive loads by offering a high level of inrush current. The IC694MDL340 can be electrically supplied by an AC power supply.
