The IC694MDL655 is a 32-Point Positive/Negative Logic Input module from RX3i Series modules by GE Fanuc Automation. This input module provides thirty-two (32) discrete input points with positive or negative logic and will operate at up to 30 Volts DC. The 32 input points of the module are arranged into four (4) isolated groups, each consisting of eight (8) points with each group having its own common. All four input groups are isolated but these groups are referenced to the same user common connection.
The IC694MDL655 module reports no fault or alarm diagnostics. Power for operating the field devices can come from an external supply or from the isolated +24 Volts DC output of the module. Green LEDs indicate the ON or OFF status of each input point of the module. The low voltage indication of the module is provided by the blue band present on its front. The IC694MDL655 input module can be installed in any slot of the RX3i PACSystems. The input voltage range of the IC694MDL655 is zero (0) to 30 Volts DC and the input current is 7 milliamperes at 24 Volts DC. The group-to-group isolation is 250 Volts AC continuous and 500 Volts AC for one minute cycle. For Field to the backplane and to frame ground, the isolation is 250 Volts AC continuous, and 1500 Volts AC for one minute.
