GE Fanuc designed and manufactured the IC694MDL730 logic output module. It must be supplied with 12 to 24 volts direct current (DC) of power. Two (2) amperes is the power consumption rating on this module. This output module features a single set of eight (8) outputs. All of these eight outputs are organized within a common power connector. The current for this output module is supplied from the positive bus or the common user load.
The IC694MDL730 positive output module's output features are well-suited to a wide array of load devices. This drive supports pairing with solenoids, LED indicators, and motor starters. The IC694MDL730 output module comes with LED indicators that have a different identifier number assigned to them. Each of these indicators can display whether each output point is on or off. When any fuse blows, a red LED that says "F" will illuminate. For this LED indication to turn on, there must be a load linked with the blown fuse.
The IC694MDL730 positive output module has two 5-amp fuses, each of which protects four outputs. The first fuse prevents outputs A1 through A4, while the second fuse protects outputs A5 through A8. Electrically, these fuses are connected to one common power source. The GE Fanuc MDL730 logic module requires low voltage for power. The voltage requirement is shown by the blue band markings. It can be set up on any output/input slots on any system from the Series 90-30 product series, as well as the RX3i PacSystems. It also allows for the removal and injection of data into a powered-on universal RX3i backplane.
