The IC694TBB132 is an Extended High-Density Terminal Block and functionally identical to high density terminal block IC694TBB032. This extended high-density terminal block has an outer cover that has the depth of nearly 13.0 mm for accommodating wires with thick insulation which is normally used with alternating current (AC) I/O modules. This terminal block comes with an additional depth of 13 mm. It has a torque of 7 pound-inches with wire strip length of 0.310 inches. Field power must be turned off carefully before initiating the installation and removal procedure of terminal block assembly. #14 to 28 AWG wire gauges are supported for the high-density terminal block which can be solid or stranded.
The IC694TBB132 is a box style terminal block with 36 pins. It is used with high-density PAC systems RX3i modules and equivalent series 90-30 PLC modules. This terminal block offers 36 screw terminals for field wiring to the terminal. The extended terminal block of the IC694TBB132 has an outer cover that is much deeper than the outer cover for the terminal block IC694TBB032. This additional depth helps it to adjust wires with much thicker and heavier insulation that is normally used with AC input/output I/O modules. The bottom section of this extended high-density terminal block can be used as a gauge for the wire strip length. The stripped wire must be completely inserted into the extended terminal block to place the insulation safely on a stop position inside the terminal block. The end of the wire strip is bent and tightening of the terminal screws raises the wire and holds it properly in place.
