The IC695ACC402 is a type of energy pack. This energy pack is a member of the RX3i PacSystem family of accessories, and modules from GE Fanuc. The RX3i CPE330 Control Processing modules are compatible with the IC695ACC402 energy pack. This module's primary function is to execute and guard the controller's user memory. This energy pack is most needed in the event of a power outage. During a power outage, the power supplied from this module is enough to transfer the contents from the user memory to the embedded non-volatile one.

However, users can use other similar cables as well. The IC695ACC402 energy pack is capable of being mounted via a panel. Additionally, this energy pack can also be mounted using a DIN rail with the part number EB50022. To meet all design requirements, it should, however, be installed next to the CPE330 controller. For proper heat dissipation, there must be a minimum space of 25 millimeters on all four sides.

Because this module is open equipment with user-accessible live electrical parts, it is recommended that it be installed in an appropriate enclosure to comply with industrial safety regulations. The IC695ACC402 is meant to mount without tools on a regular DIN rail. It can be deployed in hazardous industrial situations classified as Division 2, Class 1, Groups B, A, C, and D if properly enclosed. The module's enclosure must not be hammered or tampered with. Use professional tools to get it open. This module should be firmly grounded. The IN, STAT, and OUT LEDs are the three indication LEDs included.
