The GE Fanuc Emerson IC695ALG600 is a configurable analog module that has two CJC channels and eight (8) channels which are grouped into two groups of four. The IC695ALG600 inputs are set through the Machine Edition program as RTD, thermocouple, resistance, voltage, and current inputs. The IC695ALG600 includes six hardware AD filter frequencies. The GE IC695ALG600 analog module offers fast channel acquisition time range from 10 milliseconds to 127 milliseconds and a configurable input filter range from 8 Hertz to 1 Kilohertz. It provides a full autocalibration and on-board issue-checking. The IC695ALG600 detects and senses both open and short circuit for inputs and RTDs. The IC695ALG600 can be easily installed in a universal RX3i backplane.
The IC695ALG600 contains three (3) LED indicators located on the faceplate to show the module, field and terminal block status. This module draws a current of 400 milliamperes at a voltage of +5 Volts DC and a current of 350 milliamperes at a voltage of +3.3 Volts DC. This module provides a resolution from 11 bits to 16 bits which may vary according to the input range and A/D filter frequency. It dissipates an electrical power of 5.4 Watts and supports an overvoltage of ±14.5 Volts DC and an overcurrent of 28 milliamperes. The IC695ALG600 employs the backplane optical isolation offered by optocouplers to provide electrical isolation of ±12.5 Volts DC volts between channels, 250 Volts AC between groups, and 250 Volts AC between the terminal block. The IC695ALG600 weighs approximately 180 grams (0.39 pounds) while shipping.
