The IC695ALG626 is an analog input module that offers 16 single-ended and 8 differential input channels. The module features HART version 5.0 communication capability on each channel. It has four internal HART modems. In single ended mode, four single ended channels are multiplexed into each HART modem and in differential mode, two differential channels are multiplexed into each HART modem. The analog input channels can be set up for two possible ranges. The voltage range can be +/-10 Volts, 0 to 10 Volts, +/-5 Volts, 1 to 5 Volts, and the current ranges can be zero (0) to 20 milliamperes, 4 to 20 milliamperes, and +/- 20 milliamperes. The channels which are used for HART communication must be configured for the 4 to 20 milliampere range of current.
This IC695ALG626 non-isolated differential analog voltage/current input module is fully software configurable with complete auto-calibration. No jumpers for the module setup are needed. On-board error checking is also supported in this analog module with accurate open circuit detection for all ranges of voltage and 4 to 20 milliampere current input range. Configurable scaling and warnings for high and low range detection are also supported in the module. The module offers module fault reporting and diagnostic point fault contacts in the logic program. Auto calibration at startup is supported with terminal block insertion or removal detection. Flash memory is also available for future upgrades. The input module can be used with Box style, extended box style, Spring style, and extended spring style terminal blocks. The extended terminal blocks support extra shroud depth for shielded wiring, but terminal blocks must be ordered separately.
The GE Fanuc IC695ALG626 is a type of input analog module with support for 16/8 channels.
