The GE Fanuc Emerson IC695ALG628 is an analog voltage/current input module that can be employed for Rx3i PACSystems. This module provides non-isolated eight single-ended or four differential input channels that can convert an analog signal to a digital signal with a resolution of 24 bits. These inputs can be programmed for either voltage or current input ranges: from 4 milliamperes to 20 milliamperes, from 0 milliamperes to 20 milliamperes, from -20 milliamperes to 20 milliamperes, from 0 volts DC to 10 volts DC, from -10 volts DC to 10 volts DC, from -5 volts DC to 5 volts DC, from 0 volts DC to 5 volts DC or from 1 volt DC to 5 volts DC. This module draws a current of 450 milliamperes at a voltage of +5 volts DC and a current of 625 milliamperes at a voltage of 3.3 volts DC. The IC695ALG628 module has three LED indicators that are located on the faceplate to show the module, field, and terminal block status.
The IC695ALG628 has a red/green LED indicator labeled “TB” which indicates the state of the terminal block. The device supports a spring, box, extended spring, or extended box style front terminal block. This module can be easily mounted in an RX3i universal backplane. The input module supports an overvoltage of ± 60 volts DC and an overcurrent of 28 milliamperes. The IC695ALG628 dissipates an electrical power of 5.55 watts and provides diagnostics features. This device contains four internal HART modems. The IC695ALG628 weighs approximately 450 grams (0.99 pounds) while shipping.
