The GE Fanuc IC693MDL733 is a programmable logic controller. The IC693MDL733 package has a negative logic output unit with a voltage range of 12 to 24 VDC and a rated current of 0.5 amps for use with the GE Fanuc 90-30 PLC series. Eight output terminals are connected to a single output point on the IC693MDL733 device. GE Fanuc created and produced the IC693MDL733 module. Control of the Series 90-30 I/O devices is through a model 90-30 PLC or a desktop computer. GE Fanuc's discrete input and output components, discrete combined components, analog input, and output elements, and analog combination devices are all available. The IC693MDL733 module implements negative logic and sinks energy (current) from the connected load(s) to the attached negative bus or the user general bus. The IC693MDL733 module operates between 12 and 24 volts of DC. The output voltage for direct current is between 12 and 24 volts. Each unit has eight outlets. Between the field and logic sides, there are 1500 volts of isolation. Each point has an output current of 0.5 amps (maximum). The module's maximum power consumption is 50 milliamps. A 5 VDC backplane supply is required for the IC693MDL733 module. On the module's top is a two-row LED block. Eight green LEDs are included in each row. The first row is denoted by the letter A1, and the second row by the letter B1. Due to the restricted number of output points on this module, only A1 is utilized, with LED points 1–8 indicating the ON/OFF state of output points 1–8. This module is fuse-free. As shown by the blue color-coding on the border of the entry in between the inner and outer sides of the hinged door, this is a low-voltage module. When this door is closed, the inner surface (facing the module's interior) carries information about the module's circuit wiring.
