The IC697CPM925 module was designed and produced by GE Fanuc, as a part of the Series 90-70 product line. This product is a single-slot programmable logic controller CPU. You may use the three-position RUN or STOP switch or programming software to control the IC697CPM925. DIP switches and jumpers are not required due to a software-based setup. The device documentation also includes installation instructions, and reference information may be located within the front door. The IC697CPM925 contains four (4) status LEDs (light emitting diodes) and a battery-backed calendar clock, as well as 1 Megabyte of battery-backed memory. An integrated CMOS battery powers its memory. Furthermore, its data and program memory may be customized. The IC697CPM925 also has password-controlled access, memory protection, a remote programmer key switch, and compatibility for IC660/IC661 and IC697 input / output. Passwords or a manual memory protect key switch are used to safeguard device setup, which can be done via a serial, parallel, or Ethernet interface. When employing the memory protection key switch, a programming device attached to the Bus Transmitter module is required. To avoid overheating, a 70 cubic feet per minute fan is necessary. Before installation, the rack's power must be switched off. The memory protection key switch should be turned OFF, and the toggle switch should be in the STOP position. Any connection may be used to attach the battery. Connect the module to slot 1 and turn the device on. This device is equipped with a 64-Megahertz 80486DX2 microprocessor. The operating temperature ranges for this device are 0 to 60degrees Celsius with 70 CFM forced air and 0 to 40 degrees Celsius without forced air.
